The Pacific Life Foundation had the distinct honor to receive the Corporate Hero Award at the Orange County Heroes Awards, presented by the American Red Cross. The annual recognition is given to a business or organization that has contributed significantly to the American Red Cross mission and made a positive impact in our community. Tennyson Oyler, President of the Pacific Life Foundation, accepted the award.
“Since 1991, Pacific Life and the American Red Cross have had a very strong relationship,” said Mr. Oyler. “Over the past 30 years, the Pacific Life Foundation has contributed nearly $5 million to support essential disaster recovery efforts across the globe, as well as vital life-saving programs and projects. In addition to Foundation funding, Pacific Life employees regularly contribute blood at our onsite drives.”
Pacific Life is proud to be a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Responder Program. Through an annual $250,000 grant, we are able to proactively support Red Cross efforts in being prepared for and actively responding to disaster events in our communities.
