Grant will support the Clubs' Pursuing Greatness Capital Campaign.
The Pacific Life Foundation is proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast’s capital campaign with a $250,000 donation. Serving 8,500 children annually across sites in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange, and Santa Ana, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast is dedicated to helping children and teens unlock their potential. The $6 million capital campaign will enable the organization to increase capacity to serve more kids and families, expand the family strengthening program, enhance the local communities by becoming a hub for nonprofit and city partnerships, and ensure financial sustainability for the Clubs moving forward.
At each Club location in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast plans to create a campus facility for the 21st Century that features a dedicated Teen Center, Gymnasium, Learning Lab, Outdoor Patio, Art Wall, Donor Wall, and Reception area that is reflective of each community. At the Costa Mesa and Irvine Clubs, additional features will be incorporated such as a Teen Culinary Center where teens can learn hands-on healthy recipes and cooking skills, and a Teen Lounge to provide a safe place for youth to connect, study, and relax. By combining intentional use of space, integrated technology, and dedicated staff, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast will create neighborhood centers equipped to help youth succeed in school, in careers, and in life.
